Eddie Howe is likely to go with the same starting eleven that played so well against Forest. I suspect there’ll be no changes for today’s match so I’m going with the same starting eleven for my team prediction.
There is one potential caveat as Keith Downie is reporting Nick Pope has picked up a knock. If so, then Martin Dubravka would get the call in place of Pope.
Hearing Nick Pope is a doubt for the trip to Brighton tomorrow, with Martin Dubravka or Karl Darlow ready to deputise? #NUFC

Yesterday Howe confirmed Jonjo Shelvey will be out for the next three months after undergoing hamstring surgery. The midfielder is the only serious injury with Federico Fernandez getting close to a return to training.
Jamal Lewis has trained this week but it may be too soon to include him in the squad. Emil Krafth has a tight hamstring which may force him to miss a second straight week.
Newcastle Injuries
Jonjo Shelvey (hamstring), Fede Fernandez (calf), Emil Krafth (hamstring – late fitness test), Jamal Lewis (calf-late fitness test)
Brighton Injuries
Jakub Moder (knee), Steven Alzate (ankle – late fitness test)
Fans are very positive of a result with 85% of voters in our poll expecting a win or draw. Half of them think we’ll take all three points which would likely put us close to the top of the league table. This will be a difficult match against a well-coached Brighton side. After last weekend, optimism is high with Howe vowing to impose Newcastle’s will on the Seagulls.
